Autonomy is our Right
It is hard for some to imagine that telling a woman to smile was once, and often still is, commonplace. Society has long told us to surrender control of our bodies and our expressions, treating our smiles as public property.
Heaven forbid you don't smile! But it is hard to smile when our wages are less and our unpaid labor is more. The outdated notion that women are supposed to look pretty and keep quiet is exactly what we are fighting against.
This design is a reminder that we have a lot to fight for, and a lot of fight left in us. Why is everything focused on managing women's behavior instead of holding men accountable?
Our designs are intentionally low-key—designed to make people stop and go "huh" rather than create an immediate outrage. This is for the unapologetic.
Wear your power.
Why is everything focused on women's behavior and not men's.
Our designs are low-key enough to not make an outrage, while still making people stop to go "huh".
Woman's rights. Human rights. Queer rights.
